Cost Manager

Responsibilities

• Support Commission Managers, taking responsibility for allocated tasks
• Deliver excellent service to clients, enhancing trust and company reputation
• Meet client objectives through comprehensive cost management from pre-contract to completion
• Work on diverse projects including new builds, fit-outs, and refurbishments in residential, commercial, healthcare, hospitality, leisure, and master plan developments
• Provide pre-contract services: feasibility studies, tendering, measurement, and pricing of building and MEP works, preparation of Bills of Quantities
• Deliver post-contract services: interim applications, change management, variation valuation
• Assist with contract procedures, preferably FIDIC
• Maintain professional approach and confidence with contractors and clients
• Support procurement activities and client engagement
• Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely reporting

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar field
• Minimum 4 years’ industry experience
• UAE experience required
• Knowledge of construction industry and technical matters
• Solid understanding of pre- and post-contract services
• Experience with CostX software

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional membership (MRICS or similar) is advantageous
• Experience working for a professional cost consultancy
• Familiarity with market prices and MEP works
• Previous client-facing and procurement experience
