Cost Manager - TP

Responsibilities

• Support Commission Managers and take responsibility for allocated tasks
• Deliver excellent service to clients, enhance reputation, and ensure client objectives are met
• Provide effective cost management from pre-contract to construction completion
• Support complex and high-value projects in the UAE
• Perform pre-contract estimating, tendering, measurement, and pricing for building and MEP works
• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities and cost estimates
• Manage post-contract services including interim applications, change management, and variation valuation
• Apply standard contract forms (preferably FIDIC) and procedures
• Liaise confidently with contractor personnel and clients
• Produce accurate and timely reports and project information
• Handle post-contract cost variances and change control
• Take personal responsibility for accuracy and quality of deliverables

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar discipline
• Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in cost management roles
• In-country UAE experience required
• Proven experience in Real Estate/Property sector at a professional cost consultancy
• Knowledge of CostX software
• Strong technical expertise in construction industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional membership (MRICS or similar)
• Experience in procurement and client-facing activities
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts
• Desire for career advancement
