Cost Manager - TP

Responsibilities

• Support Commission Managers by taking responsibility for allocated tasks.
• Deliver excellent service to clients, gain their trust, and enhance the company’s reputation.
• Ensure client objectives are met through effective cost management from pre-contract to construction completion.
• Carry out pre-contract estimating, feasibility studies, tendering, measurement, and pricing for building and MEP works.
• Manage post-contract services, including interim applications, change management, and variation valuation.
• Work with standard contracts (preferably FIDIC) and understand contract procedures.
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in measurement and pricing of building and MEP works.
• Produce full Bills of Quantities and ensure correct change control processes.
• Take personal responsibility for ensuring accuracy in all produced work.
• Assist the commission lead in timely information and reporting.
• Interact confidently with clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Demonstrate a desire to progress your career to the next level.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in similar roles.
• UAE experience required.
• Knowledge of CostX.
• Good knowledge of construction industry and technical matters.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional membership (e.g., MRICS) is an advantage.
• Experience working in the Real Estate/Property sector.
• Client-facing and procurement experience beneficial.
