Job Description

Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the META region to achieve and exceed revenue targets, aligned with OPSWAT’s global growth objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize high-potential markets, verticals (energy, utilities, oil and gas, government, financial services), and customer segments in the META region.
  • Drive adoption of OPSWAT IT/OT cybersecurity solutions through consultative selling.
  • Leverage market insights to position OPSWAT as the preferred cybersecurity provider.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team across the META region.
  • Establish clear performance metrics, sales processes, and productivity goals.
  • Provide coaching and professional development to sales reps.
  • Collaborate with HR to recruit top-tier sales talent for regional expansion.

Customer & Partner Engagement

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-levels and government officials.
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with regional distributors, integrators, resellers, and tech partners.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, tailoring OPSWAT’s solutions to meet their needs.
  • Represent OPSWAT at industry events and conferences.

Revenue Growth & Pipeline Management

  • Drive lead generation, opportunity development, and deal closure.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools (Salesforce, Clari) and the MEDDPIC methodology.
  • Negotiate high-value contracts with enterprise and public sector clients.
  • Report on sales performance, market trends, and competitive activity to leadership.

Regional Market Expansion

  • Support expansion initiatives in key markets like Saudi Arabia, UAE, Turkey, and Africa.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new products/services.
  • Ensure compliance with regional regulations and industry standards in all sales activities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with product, engineering, and customer success teams to drive regional product enhancements.
  • Work closely with marketing for region-specific campaigns and materials.
  • Align strategies with global sales leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 10+ years sales experience in cybersecurity, IT, or OT technology, with 5+ years in a senior sales leadership role in META
  • Proven achievement of multimillion-dollar sales targets
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles (government tenders, large enterprise deals)
  • Experience building and leading distributed regional teams
  • Deep knowledge of IT/OT cybersecurity solutions
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), sales forecasting, and MEDDPIC methodology
  • Familiarity with regional cybersecurity regulations and compliance standards
  • Exceptional leadership and emotional intelligence
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills (English; Arabic or regional languages a plus)
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills
  • Customer-centric mindset
  • Willing to travel extensively across the META region (up to 50%)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Established network with government and critical infrastructure organizations in MEA
  • Experience selling to ministries, military, or intelligence agencies
  • Experience in pre-IPO or high-growth tech companies
  • Knowledge of economic diversification initiatives (e.g., Saudi Vision 2030, UAE Vision 2021)
