Technology Commercial Legal Counsel

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer, vendor, consulting, referral, reseller, and NDAs.
• Support and enhance Tavily’s privacy and data protection program, ensuring compliance with global regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and other standards.
• Review and negotiate data processing agreements (DPAs) and provide legal guidance on privacy matters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, R&D) to identify legal needs and implement best practices.
• Draft employment-related documents and provide advice on employment law.
• Offer legal support on corporate matters.
• Assess legal risk and develop practical mitigation strategies in partnership with stakeholders across the company.

Requirements

• Bar admission in Abu Dhabi, Israel, U.S. or UK
• LL.B. or equivalent law degree from a top-tier university
• 3 to 8 years post-internship practicing commercial law at a law firm or as in-house counsel at a tech company
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating technology commercial agreements
• Native or near-native English; excellent communication skills
• Willingness to relocate to or currently residing in Abu Dhabi

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with global privacy regulations (GDPR, CPRA, U.S. state privacy laws)
• Experience in corporate or employment law
