Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for ECS (Environmental Control Systems) and TVS (Tunnel Ventilation Systems).
• Service, troubleshoot, and test HVAC control panels, field instruments, motors, valves, and related components.
• Interpret and work with P&ID loops, system architecture drawings, and wiring schematics.
• Prepare and submit detailed monthly service completion reports, specifying location and tasks.
• Coordinate with internal engineering and client zone engineers to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and ensure strict safety compliance on site.
• Identify system performance issues and escalate appropriately.
• Complete assigned field testing and commissioning tasks.
• Communicate effectively in English (written and spoken) for reporting and coordination.

Requirements

• BE, Diploma, or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or E&I.
• Proven experience in servicing ECS and TVS systems (AHUs, FCUs, MSDs, CV/MD controllers, control panels).
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical motors/pumps, dosing pumps, control valves, and instrumentation.
• Hands-on experience with Rockwell PLCs.
• Strong grasp of international standards (electrical systems, instrumentation, HVAC/BMS).
• Ability to calibrate field devices using PLC/DDC programming interfaces.
• Experienced in reading and interpreting P&ID, system architecture, and wiring diagrams.
• Physical fitness to work in tunnels and technical environments.
• Proficient English communication and report writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience on UAE projects or knowledge of regional standards.
• Familiarity with Honeywell, Siemens, or TREND DDCs.
