Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive sales into the largest enterprise accounts in the Sub Saharan Africa region, focusing on South Africa, from the Dubai office.
  • Execute "hunter" sales activities, proactively penetrating a targeted list of named accounts.
  • Lead detailed account planning, foster strong relationships, and run effective sales campaigns to closure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional resources, channel managers, and alliance partners both internally and externally.
  • Develop and execute sales strategy for assigned accounts to achieve revenue goals.
  • Manage complex sales cycles and contract negotiations.
  • Maintain a robust and accurate sales pipeline.
  • Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
  • Provide accurate reporting and forecasting for business performance within the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English
  • Proven direct touch selling experience in South Africa
  • 15+ years of technology selling experience, with 8+ years in technologies such as SASE, ZT, FAAS, CASB, WAF, SWG, RBI, DDOS
  • Minimum 8 years selling to similar enterprise accounts, managing sales cycles end-to-end
  • Strong understanding of computer networking and Internet technologies
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical background
  • Experience with Salesforce, BI Tools, and pipeline generation
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial approach
  • Adaptable to fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Knowledge of the competitive landscape and experience in competitive displacement selling

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry experience selling into public sector, manufacturing, BFSI, energy, and enterprise verticals in Sub Saharan Africa
  • Track record of uncovering, qualifying, developing, and closing large, strategic deals
  • Aptitude for learning new technical concepts and solutions
