SAP Cloud Infra Senior Consultant

Responsibilities

SAP S/4HANA Basis Administration:

• Oversee technical administration and management of SAP S/4HANA, ensuring system stability, performance, and security.
• Perform SAP S/4HANA system installations, upgrades, patches, and support package implementations.
• Manage system landscapes, including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP BTP, ensuring seamless integration.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and manage configurations to ensure optimal operation.
• Provide 24/7 technical support for SAP S/4HANA, system monitoring, incident management, and resolutions.
• Perform client and user management, including roles and authorizations.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) processes.

SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) Administration:

• Administer SAP BTP, optimizing for SAP and non-SAP workloads.
• Manage provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle of SAP BTP services (HANA Cloud, Integration Suite, AI/ML, SAC).
• Integrate SAP BTP with SAP S/4HANA and third-party applications to support hybrid environments.
• Implement and manage cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) for BTP-based applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot SAP BTP services efficiently.

SAP System Integration & Cloud Management:

• Oversee integration of SAP S/4HANA with SAP BTP and other cloud platforms, ensuring performance and data consistency.
• Implement and maintain cloud-based SAP solutions (Fiori, S/4HANA extensions, analytics via SAP BTP).
• Configure and maintain hybrid cloud environments supporting SAP workloads.
• Manage cloud storage, data management, and security for SAP systems on BTP or other clouds.

Security & Compliance:

• Ensure SAP environments comply with internal security, data regulations, and industry standards.
• Administer security roles, authorizations, and profiles to safeguard data.
• Enforce secure network communications and conduct regular security assessments.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization:

• Monitor systems for performance issues; resolve bottlenecks.
• Perform proactive tuning, load balancing, and optimizations for high availability.
• Analyze workloads and metrics; recommend system efficiency improvements.
• Implement and manage SAP Solution Manager and other monitoring tools.

Upgrade, Migration & Patching:

• Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and patches for SAP S/4HANA, Basis, and BTP, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Perform technical assessments for migrations, including sizing, prerequisites, and strategy.
• Coordinate with teams for successful upgrade/migration execution.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

• Troubleshoot and resolve critical SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and SAP Basis technical issues.
• Liaise with SAP support for escalated issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

• Work with SAP functional teams, developers, and IT operations for seamless integration.
• Collaborate on custom developments, integrations, and system architecture.

Documentation & Knowledge Management:

• Document configurations, installations, patches, and solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive records for audits and compliance.

Training and Knowledge Transfer:

• Train junior Basis team members on administration and troubleshooting.
• Ensure knowledge transfer for day-to-day SAP operations.

Requirements

Professional Experience:

• 8-10 years in SAP Basis, S/4HANA administration, performance tuning, upgrades
• Administering SAP BTP services
• Hybrid cloud architecture experience
• Managing SAP Cloud environments
• Large-scale SAP migrations and upgrades

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, or related
• SAP certification in Basis or S/4HANA (preferred)

Technical Expertise:

• SAP S/4HANA architecture, configuration, tuning
• Administering SAP BTP and services: HANA Cloud, Integration Suite, SAC
• Cloud-native tech: Kubernetes, Docker, microservices
• SAP Solution Manager, monitoring tools
• SAP NetWeaver, Fiori, Gateway

Cloud & Hybrid Environments:

• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP (SAP workloads)
• Hybrid cloud integration strategies

Security & Compliance:

• SAP security best practices: user management, RBAC, encryption
• Regulatory requirements for SAP systems in cloud

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry experience: Aviation or travel
• SAP Landscape Management (LMDB) knowledge
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA cloud deployments or SAP Fiori app management
