Revenue Accountant (F&B)

Responsibilities

• Review, audit, and reconcile daily revenue streams including food, beverages, events, and other services.
• Ensure accuracy of all revenue transactions—credit card, cash, third-party aggregators.
• Perform detailed credit card reconciliations, ensuring processor records match POS and ERP systems.
• Reconcile aggregator transactions (third-party delivery, online booking) with internal records.
• Ensure discounts, voids, and complimentary items are properly authorized and recorded.
• Investigate discrepancies in revenue due to adjustments or complimentary offerings.
• Verify correct processing and authorization of discounts, voids, and complimentary items in line with company policies.
• Analyze trends in discounts and voids to prevent misuse; report irregularities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue audit reports highlighting discrepancies, trends, and areas for improvement.
• Provide insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance and minimize losses.
• Use Micros POS and ERP systems to track, audit, and reconcile revenue data.
• Troubleshoot system errors; resolve revenue recording and reconciliation issues.
• Maintain internal financial controls and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Support internal and external audits with accurate financial records.
• Collaborate with F&B, operations, and accounting teams to ensure proper revenue recording.
• Train staff on revenue reporting and processing procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years as a Revenue Auditor, Income Auditor, or similar role in F&B or hospitality.
• Experience handling large volumes of transactions and reconciliations.
• Hands-on proficiency with Micros POS and ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite, SAP).
• Strong analytical skills in revenue management and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications (CPA, Internal Auditor) are a plus.
• Experience with aggregator transaction reconciliation.
• Proven track record in maintaining internal financial controls.
• Experience in the UAE F&B or hospitality sector preferred.
