Resident Engineer - Sewage Treatment Plant

Responsibilities

• Lead construction supervision projects as the client's main point of contact
• Deliver assigned packages on time, within budget, and to quality standards
• Supervise and manage contractors to ensure specification compliance and milestones
• Direct supervision team for daily inspections
• Maintain high safety awareness and enforce contractor obligations
• Resolve on-site issues
• Present progress and package issues to client team
• Negotiate changes to scope with clients and subcontractors
• Follow up on project instructions and commitments
• Establish and maintain Project Execution Plan, Safety Plan, and Quality Control Plan
• Monitor program requirements and site staff performance
• Oversee technical, fiscal, and administrative functions
• Assign responsibilities to subordinates
• Conduct performance reviews and development plans
• Lead weekly meetings to review project status
• Represent the company in all client meetings
• Perform engineering and construction management related to roads construction
• Review technical deliverables and construction programs, specifications, and cost estimates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or relevant discipline)
• Minimum 20 years post-graduate experience in design and site supervision
• Strong general engineering background
• Prior UAE work experience
• Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Chartered engineer status
• Familiarity with Dubai Authorities and regulations
