Recovery Driver - Heavy Duty

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty recovery vehicles and equipment to tow, recover, and transport disabled or damaged heavy-duty vehicles
• Respond promptly to emergency calls and dispatch instructions
• Assess recovery situations and determine the most appropriate methods and equipment for safe vehicle recovery
• Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and repairs when necessary
• Secure and stabilize vehicles for safe transportation
• Maintain accurate records of recovery operations, including documentation of damages and service reports
• Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations while operating recovery vehicles
• Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and dispatchers
• Navigate efficiently through Dubai's road network using GPS and local knowledge
• Perform regular maintenance checks on recovery vehicles and equipment

Requirements

• Valid heavy-duty vehicle driver's license
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy-duty vehicle recovery
• Proven experience operating various types of heavy-duty recovery vehicles and equipment
• Strong knowledge of towing and recovery techniques for heavy-duty vehicles
• Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Thorough understanding of safety protocols and procedures in recovery operations
• Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks associated with vehicle recovery
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations in Dubai
• Familiarity with Dubai's road network and traffic patterns
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Towing and recovery certification
• First aid and CPR certification
• Skills/knowledge in mechanics, electrical, or other relevant technical areas that can support workshop operations or project needs
