Managing Director - Government, Sovereigns & Public Sector (Emiratized Role)

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow assigned Government, Sovereigns & Public Sector client portfolio within Investment Banking & Markets.
• Originate, pitch and execute banking and capital markets solutions across the government sector.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans to increase wallet share and cross-sell products.
• Oversee financial analysis, term sheets, mandates, financial modelling and deal documentation.
• Manage P&L for the portfolio; achieve revenue targets and maintain credit quality.
• Supervise, mentor and develop team members; ensure effective performance management.
• Liaise with Product, Risk, Compliance and Operations to streamline transaction execution and manage risks.
• Ensure adherence to KYC/AML, ORM, BCP and internal audit requirements; maintain timely credit reviews and file documentation.
• Support Sector Head on day-to-day activities and deputise as required.
• Monitor market trends; identify opportunities and risks across client industries.
