Light Duty Driver / Chargehand

Responsibilities

• Oversee the clean-up of job sites.
• Transport workers and materials to job sites.
• Safely operate tools and machinery as required.
• Place warning signs, cones, and road closures as needed.
• Inspect equipment for safety compliance.
• Supervise and lead a team on various tasks.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
• Provide guidance to workers and inspect completed work for quality standards.
• Resolve job site issues and conflicts.
• Maintain accurate work and material records.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Perform hands-on work as needed.
• Ensure proper maintenance and storage of tools and equipment.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Familiarity with safety regulations and laws
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Teamwork skills
• Experience with light vehicles
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and equipment
