Legal Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, supplier contracts, and complex enterprise customer agreements.
• Manage contract workflows from initial request to signature, ensuring timely turnaround.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (sales, partnerships, operations) to align contract terms with business requirements.
• Track contract versions, amendments, and obligations in a structured system.
• Maintain and improve contract templates and playbooks.
• Escalate legal or commercial risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them.
• Liaise with external counsel as needed for specialist advice.
• Support process improvements for more efficient and scalable contract negotiation.

Requirements

• Law degree and some practical legal experience (from law firm, in-house, or internship).
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills, ideally with exposure to B2B or enterprise contracts.
• Comfortable working with bespoke, non-standard agreements.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously.
• Commercial mindset, able to balance legal risk with business priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and external counterparties.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or technology sectors.
• Exposure to cross-border or multi-jurisdictional contracts.
• Familiarity with enterprise SaaS or API service agreements.
• Experience creating or managing contract playbooks.
