Junior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the successful commissioning and supervision of electrical equipment installations on site, specifically for the Hassyan project.
• Ensure the smooth commissioning of RO plant electrical systems, transformers, and auxiliary equipment as required for project execution.
• Inspect and supervise the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment, including MV/LV panels, auxiliary panels, cable trays, ladders, and cable pulling.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Control documentation and procedures during Turnover Operations (TOps).
• Participate in or support task forces assigned to investigate and resolve electrical issues or incidents on site.
• Take part in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for MV/LV switchgears, UPS, circuit breakers, and auxiliary panels.
• Perform or review testing procedures for transformers, MV/LV panels, VSDs, and UPS systems.
• Participate in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) activities related to electrical equipment when necessary.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by Management to support project execution and site operations.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or holding an engineering degree or equivalent
• Good command of English (spoken and written)
