Jr. Site Engineer

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities related to bridge construction and maintenance works.
• Coordinate with Project Engineer, Consultants, and Contractors for smooth project execution.
• Interpret and implement construction drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
• Monitor progress, ensure scheduled work completion, and report delays or technical issues.
• Ensure site work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and material consumption logs.
• Conduct inspections and assist in preparing inspection requests for completed work.
• Identify site challenges and propose solutions in consultation with the engineering team.
• Support procurement planning, material tracking, and site logistics.
• Communicate effectively with the workforce and provide technical guidance as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3 to 5 years of UAE-based experience in bridge construction or maintenance projects.
• Valid UAE Driving License.

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid understanding of structural elements, construction methods, and site procedures.
• Familiarity with local construction standards, safety regulations, and quality processes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of site management tools is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
