Facilities Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs)
• Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies
• Establish maintenance procedures, policies, and SOPs
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, warehouses, and retail outlets to identify and resolve issues and assess potential risks
• Schedule and oversee maintenance-related activities and equipment repairs/installations
• Coordinate with project management team for smooth delivery of new outlets
• Liaise with operations to ensure uninterrupted business operations and successful events
• Supervise maintenance staff including coordinators and technicians
• Ensure all maintenance operations meet company policy and health & safety guidelines
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors and oversee execution
• Analyze and monitor market trends and best practices relating to maintenance procedures
• Participate in meetings as required
• Execute any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the line manager or MDs
• Address concerns promptly and professionally to ensure high standards of satisfaction

Requirements

• Diploma / ITI or bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical / Mechanical)
• 3-5 years of experience in facility supervision or property management
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
• Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
• UAE driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in FM Soft Services is advantageous
