Events Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional quality across all touchpoints.
• Manage large-scale budgets with accountability for cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Oversee all logistics and operations, including venue selection, vendor sourcing, government permits, security, hospitality, transportation, and technical production.
• Direct cross-functional teams including creative, production, marketing, operations, and external agencies.
• Coordinate guest management including keynote speakers, influencers, media, VIPs, and international delegates.
• Ensure delivery of high-impact branding, digital integrations, and audience experiences.
• Lead on-site execution, managing staff, timelines, crisis management, and issue resolution.
• Monitor KPIs and provide detailed post-event reporting and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in event management, with proven success in leading mega events (5,000+ attendees or high-profile, internationally recognized events).
• Strong background in budget management, procurement, and financial accountability.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
• Fluent in English; Arabic fluency is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; thrives under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Creative problem-solver with the ability to adapt quickly and make sound decisions in dynamic environments.
• Tech-savvy with experience using event management tools, CRM systems, and virtual platforms.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends during event periods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering events within the UAE or GCC region, with knowledge of local regulations and suppliers.
• Deep understanding of the content creator/influencer landscape and social media trends.
• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Exposure to media, entertainment, or brand activations is an advantage.
