Job Description
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain vessel engines and machinery in accordance with safety standards
- Perform routine inspections and basic repairs to ensure proper engine functioning
- Assist with vessel navigation, docking, and cargo handling as needed
- Maintain accurate engine room logs and reports
- Comply with all maritime safety regulations and procedures
Requirements
- Valid Engine Operator License (required)
- Valid Seaman’s Book and STCW certifications
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and marine engine operation
- Physically fit and able to work in offshore or demanding environments
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a seaman or deckhand on commercial/residential yachts
- Familiarity with UAE maritime operations
