Responsibilities
- Develop and advance strategic law enforcement relationships, focusing on agencies in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), while also contributing to global outreach.
- Plan and deliver educational programs for law enforcement and key external stakeholders on Roblox’s safety efforts, policies, and NCMEC CyberTip initiatives.
- Proactively identify, monitor, analyze, and advise on law enforcement developments impacting Roblox across the MENA region.
- Empathetically address regional law enforcement concerns and help codify and scale key learnings within Roblox.
- Build subject-matter expertise in Roblox’s safety practices and advocate for strategic safety enhancements.
- Draft clear, concise investigative work product for internal and external audiences.
- Collaborate extensively with Legal & Advocacy, Safety, Product, and Communications teams to address emergencies and escalations relevant to platform safety.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in law enforcement, intelligence, government, trust and safety, or adjacent field.
- In-depth knowledge of the law enforcement ecosystem and policymakers in MENA; awareness of current trends and challenges in online safety, especially child safety and regional considerations.
- Proven public speaking, ability to travel at short notice, relationship building, process definition, and value addition at all scales.
- Outstanding communication, leadership, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to manage multiple, high-profile projects in dynamic contexts.
- High integrity, collegiality, and resilience.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
