HSE Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive the development and implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and programs for US facilities.
• Ensure compliance with US regulations (EPA, DOT, OSHA) and Beckers corporate sustainability strategies.
• Oversee regulatory reporting including VOC, SWPP, Tier II, Hazardous Waste, and Annual Air Emissions.
• Foster a strong safety culture by maintaining updated OSHA programs and conducting employee training.
• Direct incident investigations, develop corrective action plans, and manage the worker's compensation process.
• Audit facilities to ensure compliance with US regulatory and corporate requirements.
• Manage the "Management of Change" process for facilities, equipment, and raw materials.

Requirements

• Degree in EHS-related field, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience in compliance within the coatings or a related chemical industry.
• Knowledge of common industrial statistical tools.
• Ability to obtain RCRA/DOT hazardous waste training within 6 months of hire.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate with internal departments.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making capabilities in a team-oriented environment.
